Nurturing young minds while keeping the spirit free.
It is a view of the child as one who is naturally eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning in a supportive, thoughtfully prepared learning environment. It is an approach that values the human spirit and the development of the whole child—physical, social, emotional, cognitive. Montessori education offers our children opportunities to develop their potential as they step out into the world as engaged, competent, responsible, and respectful citizens with an understanding and appreciation that learning is for life. Given the freedom and support to question, to probe deeply, and to make connections, Montessori students become confident, enthusiastic, self-directed learners.
Children are able to think critically, work collaboratively, and act boldly.
Developed by Italian physician and educator, Maria Montessori, this method of education recognizes that every child is an individual and has an innate desire to learn. The Montessori Method has been shown to have a lifelong positive impact on learning and students' self-confidence.

Our Montessori school provide students the specially prepared environments and the self-confidence to truly flourish and develop socially, emotionally, spiritually, and physically, in addition to intellectually. Students receive individualized support from educators and develop leadership skills through collaborative work.

PARENT'S PERSPECTIVE
Both of our girls have attended CMA for their preschool years and we have been so impressed with the calm, loving, and supportive environment. Our children leave each day happy and content ready to share what they have learned. This is so different from the overstimulated chaotic environment we have experienced in other preschool settings. Ms. Inayat is a master educator and our children are entranced by her calm loving guidance. She is able to capture and hold their interest, they are able to learn new skills and grow, and we are excited to see what new skills they can learn each day. There is a strong sense of inclusion, and belonging here and all children are welcome to come, learn, and be safe. - T.S. and G.T |
